Question:
When trying to import a .stp -file created in Advance Steel V2016 to Tekla Structures I receive the following error.

Answer:
If a stp-file from Advance Steel or another software is a manufacturing format file for the project that includes bolts, connections etc. it cannot be imported. This format is not supported. Instead, produce an SDNF file (Steel Detailing Neutral Format .sdf, .sdnf) for the physical members' transfer or an IFC2X3 (.ifc) file.
