Question:
How to set the hidden lines of holes as hidden on drawings?
Answer:
You can show or hide the hidden lines of bolts in single part, assembly, and general arrangement drawings. You can set the hidden lines to be always invisible:
1. Open the Assembly Drawing Properties > Bolt… dialog box. On the Content tab, change the Solid/Symbol option to solid.
2. Go to Advanced options and set the XS_DRAW_BOLT_HIDDEN_LINES_IN_ASSEMBLY_DRAWINGS to FALSE.
3. Create the assembly drawing.
You can set the hidden lines to be visible as the Part settings allow:
1. Open the Assembly Drawing Properties > Bolt… dialog box. On the Content tab, change the Solid/Symbol option to solid .
2. Open the Assembly Drawing Properties > Part… dialog box. On the Content tab, clear the Hidden lines check box.
3. Go to Advanced options and set the XS_DRAW_BOLT_HIDDEN_LINES_IN_ASSEMBLY_DRAWINGS variable to AS_PART.
4. Create the assembly drawing.
