Wall Handset Formwork Plugin

This page provides instructions on how to use the Wall Handset Formwork plugin installed with the USA Formwork Tools TSEP package from the Tekla Warehouse.

Usage

Tool for creating steel-ply formwork on concrete wall parts.

After applying appropriate settings:

Pick one (1) concrete wall panel part.

User Interface

This section contains information about property fields in the UI and is grouped by the Tab Header name.

Panel Properties

Control where the filler panel(s) will be placed.
Offset of the forms from the start point of the wall.
Offset of the forms form the end point of the wall.
Distance list for height of forms. For example if you would like the bottom form to be 6' and two (2) 4' above it, enter 6'-0" 2*4'-0"
Choose option to create ties or to not create.
Vertical spacing of the ties.
Standard width of panels to be arrayed.

Waler and Strongbacks

Choose which sides of the wall to create the walers or to not create them at all.
Offset of the horizontal waler from the start end of the wall.
Offset of the horizontal waler from the end point of the wall.
Enter the vertical spacing of the horizontal walers as a distance list.
Enter the total length of the strongback.
Offset from the start of the panels to the first strongback.
Spacings of the strongbacks as a distance list.
Offset from the bottom of the wall to the bottom of the strongback.
Profile of the waler.
Quantity of walers.
The type of clamp used to connect to walers to the Panels.
Profile of the strongback.
Quantity of strongbacks.
Spacing of clamps that support the strongbacks.
The type of clamp used for strongbacks.

Braces

Choose to create braces.
Type of attachment to connect the brace to the panels.
Spacing of the braces along the wall.
Distance from the bottom of the form to the bracing point on the wall in the vertical direction.
Distance from the base of the brace
Distance from the wall face to the brace point connecting to the ground in the horizontal direction.

Scaffold Bracket

Choose to create brackets.
Offset of the bracket from the start end of the forms.
Spacing of the brackets.
Distance from the top of panels to the connecting point or walking platform planks. Rounded to nearest dado joint.
