TEXT MASK (FRAME) in view label in exported drawings
Question:
How to avoid TEXT MASK (FRAME) in view label if I am using the new drawing export option (Export drawings to DWG/DXF)?
See below Snap which is having frame around "3d" in exported drawing but no frame around the same view lable "3d"in Tekla drawings.
Answer:
It can be controlled by changing the Mask/Frame option settings in your reference drawings(DWG) which you are using during the drawing export.
You need to follow the below procedure to change the Mask/Frame settings once you open the reference drawing.
1) Go to “Annotate” Menu > “Mask” , then click or Type “Mask” in your command window
2) Type “F” for Frame in your command window
3) Type “N” for No.
4) Save your drawing
You can try with below option if “Mask” command is not available in your CAD drafting software.
1) Type “WIPEOUT” in command window
2) Enter “F” for frame
3) Enter “OFF”
4) Save your drawing.
You will not get any frame or Mask if you are using this drawing as a reference drawing for new drawing export.
