Templates do not show up in the multidrawing

Question:
When I create an empty multidrawing, the attached layout and templates do not show up until a drawing is linked to it. Then, if I close and re-open the drawing, they are gone again.
Answer:
The reason for this is that the content type should be DRAWING in the template. If the row content type is ASSEMBLY and the drawing is empty (does not contain any assemblies), then the template is not drawn.
