Sign-in changes in Tekla Structures

We are updating Trimble Identity with additional features and improved security. If you are using a version older than Tekla Structures 2021, this major change to the sign-in platform requires you to update Tekla Structures so that you can continue signing in.

Features that require Trimble Identity sign-in:

• Online licensing
• Tekla Model Sharing
• Tekla Warehouse integration
• Trimble Connect integration
• In-product support tool

Other product features can be used without signing in. You can use your account in a web browser with our online services just like before, including Tekla Warehouse and Trimble Connect.

We recommend that you update Tekla Structures to a supported service pack release as soon as possible. This allows you to continue signing in when we phase out the previous-generation Trimble Identity. We plan to release the service packs between June and August 2021. See the table below for the correct service pack for your Tekla Structures version.

If you cannot update immediately, take note of the following:

• Without the service pack update, sign-in in Tekla products will continue to work for all Windows 10 users until the end of the year 2021.
• If you are running Tekla Structures on Windows 7 or 8, make sure that you have Internet Explorer 11 installed and JavaScript enabled to be able to sign in without the Tekla Structures service pack update. This allows sign-in to work until the end of the year 2021.
• We recommend starting all new projects with Tekla Structures 2022.
• Tekla products have an extended schedule for this change. If you are using other Trimble software, you may need to upgrade those products by September 1. Refer to your product-specific support site for more details.
