Question:
I have set some date user-defined attributes to certain parts but not to all parts. Now I need to filter the parts that do not have the date field set. How can I do this?
Answer:
Unfortunately, our filtering system does not yet support the type "date - is set" or "date - is not set" data. But there is a workaround: Object representation.
You can create an object representation for the parts which have this particular date information. Set the date to earlier than for example 31.12.2025 but later than for example 31.12.1990 - just make sure that the time scale is wide enough to include all the dates that your project might have. After creating this object group for the parts which have the date on the scale, set the visibility of these parts to "Hidden". All the parts that do not match this group will be visible (for example, color by class), and you can easily select them.
