The following characters (reserved characters) should not be included in the file and folder names that are used by Tekla Structures:
< (less than)
> (greater than)
: (colon)
" (double quote)
/ (forward slash)
\ (backslash)
| (vertical bar or pipe)
? (question mark)
* (asterisk)
Do not use the following reserved names for the names of a files:
CON, PRN, AUX, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9.
Please note: Reserved characters apply to all Windows Operating Systems, however the reserved file names does not apply to Windows 11.
