Question:
Why does Repair Model deletes my grid and how to avoid it?
Answer:
Most probably you have added grid planes manually and accidentally you have added two planes in exactly same location. Undo the Repair Model. Then try to find and delete the duplicate grid plane:
1) Select a grid plane
2) Delete it
3) If there is still a grid plane then the deleted one was a duplicate
4) If the grid plane was not duplicate then undo the delete command
After deleting duplicates you can run Repair Model again.
