Repair & Uninstall/Reinstall Crystal Reports

- In Windows, open the Control Panel and browse to the Programs and Features.
- In Programs and Features locate any installations of SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework.
- Separately, right click on each row and select Repair these programs
- After a Repair has completed, restart your computer.
- Test to see if you are able to open a Crystal Report.

Uninstall/Reinstall SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework
To Uninstall the SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework from your computer:
- In Windows, open the Control Panel and browse to the Programs and Features.
- In Programs and Features locate any installations of SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework.
- Take note of the architectures (64-bit and/or 32-bit) that are installed. You will only be reinstalling those that exist.
- Separately, right click on each row and select Uninstall.
- After a the uninstallation has completed, restart your computer.
To Reinstall the SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework to your computer:
- Locate the installation file in your Default Directories Backup folder. The default location for that is:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Tekla\Tekla PowerFab\Backup
Image - Double click and run the installers only for the architectures uninstalled. These are named
CRRuntime_64bit_##_##_##.msi
andCRRuntime_32bit_##_##_##.msi
. - After the installers have completed, restart your computer.
- Test to see if you are able to open a Crystal Report.
