Reinforcement pull-out picture in templates on drawings

Question:
It is difficult to set the correct reinforcement pull-out picture in templates on drawings. Is there an easier way?
At first I select the layout of the drawing, and the drawing opened shows a template with the reinforcing bar shape deformed.

To solve that problem I can modify the layout for the second time, and the template then shows the correct shapes.

Answer:
Tekla Structures automatically scales the pull-out picture in templates to fit the picture in the template field. In this case the measurements of the pull-out picture are in some scaling limited so that the picture is randomly scaled larger or smaller. When Tekla Structures fits the pull-out picture to the template field, it first selects the longest side of the reinforcing bar shape and positions it horizontally at the bottom of the template field. The whole pull-out picture size includes texts and as the font size does not change, Tekla Structures only scales the picture of the reinforcing bar shape.
If the pull-out picture is changing randomly or if the reinforcing bar shape picture itself becomes very small, it often helps if you change the font of the dimensions or if you make the space for the pull-out picture larger. To change the font of the dimensions in the pull-out picture: In Template Editor, double-click the graphical field and in the properties dialog box click the Free attributes button. You can change the font properties on the User tab. To change the space for the pull-out picture, just increase the graphical field height (usually width is not the problem) and the row height too, if needed.
