Question:
I am using mesh_database.inp to customize mesh sizes. I want to create a mesh with equal distance between bars, with 0 mm overhang on both sides. However, even though I specify 0 overhang on the mesh_database.inp, the 'Right Overhang' is not shown as zero, and is grayed out in the dialog (see picture below). How can I specify 0mm Right Overhang?

Answer:
When using 'Same distance for all' as spacing method for meshes, the user inputs the 'Distance(s)' (between bars), 'Left Overhang', and 'Width/Length'. TS use these values to automatically calculate the 'Right Overhang' value and the number of bars in the mesh. However there is a rule in TS that prevents Right Overhang value from being zero (see picture). When this is the case, the number of bars is reduced by one, and the Right Overhand value increased accordingly.

In this case, what is needed is to use 'Multiple varying distances' spacing method. The user inputs the 'Distance(s)' (between bars), 'Left Overhang', and 'Right Overhang'. TS use these values to automatically calculate the 'Width/Length'. In this case, the user can use 0mm for the 'Right Overhang' (see picture).
