Question:
When I am trying to print, the printer cannot choose the paper size.

Answer:
The problem is most probably driver-specific.

To bypass this problem, you need to set up individual printers for each paper size, changing the preferred paper size respectively.

  1. Go to Control Panel and add a new printer.
For more information about adding new printers see the Microsoft help pages.
  2. Repeat step 1 for all needed paper sizes, for example: A0, A1, A2, A3, A4.
  3. When you add printer instances in Tekla Structures, use the corresponding printer driver according to the paper size.
  4. Repeat step 3 for each of your printer instances in Tekla Structures.
  5. Click OK to save changes.
  6. Print PDFs.

If you are using the new printing where you can set up multiple printers in the Print Drawings dialog, see Print to a PDF file, plot file (.plt) or printer for more information.

If you are using the old printing including a printer catalog, see Setting up printer instances in Printer Catalog for more information.
