Question:
When I click the Perform Status Enquiry button in LMTOOLS it shows the license information of a different computer. How can I see the license status of a particular computer?

Answer:
You should override the current tekla license path in LMTOOLS:

  1. Start LMTOOLS and go to the Utilities tab:
  2. Type tekla as Vendor Name,
    27007@new_server_name (where 27007 – port and new_server_name – computer name of the computer where Tekla Structures License Server is installed. Port and computer name should be the same as defined in tekla.lic) as Path, then click the Override Path button:

  3. Go to the Server Status tab and click the Perform Status Enquiry button. It should now work correctly.
