Publish Tekla PowerFab Data to Trimble Connect Organizer

You can now publish information from estimating and production control to Trimble Connect Organizer, giving you a powerful and flexible way to view the data from any device. In Trimble Connect Organizer you can layer, filter, and colorize data to make visualization that is meaningful to you. In addition, you can share this visualization with other Trimble Connect Business Premium users. [video]

Improved visibility for external processes and progress

You can now designate production and field stations for improved tracking of processes outside your own facility. This gives visibility and reporting options on the progress of a project not only in the fabrication shop, but also tracking for external processes like erection. The status of the external stations and routes can be updated via Tekla PowerFab Go and be visualized in Trimble Connect. This way the erection crew can update the erection progress from the field using Tekla PowerFab Go, and share these statuses both internally and externally in real time. [video]

Tekla PowerFab Assembly and Part Tracking Enhancement

You now have greater flexibility to track parts and assemblies through stations and routes on the shop floor. Once the tracked parts have been processed, you can choose which station the parts come together to form an assembly. This allows for greater accuracy in production reporting as you have more flexibility in the way stations and routes can be configured to reflect your specific production settings. [video]

Tekla PowerFab Go Project Management Enhancements

Tekla PowerFab Go now gives project managers greater access to key Project Management information in the field. In addition to the project schedule and production status, now you can also access Transmittals, RFIs, and Change Orders using the mobile interface. [video]

Database Backup Notifications

Tekla PowerFab will now provide warning notifications if a database backup has not been successfully performed for a defined number of days. These options can be configured to show a background warning message, or a popup message on login. Control who sees the messages and when in the Administration Settings screen.

Trimble Viewpoint Integration

In partnership with Trimble Viewpoint accounting solutions, you can now export Purchase Order data from the menu on the Tekla PowerFab purchasing screen for import to multiple ViewPoint solutions. Keep Tekla PowerFab and Trimble Viewpoint accounting in sync for Purchase Orders, avoiding manual reentry of information.
