Question:
How does Object Browser handle duplicate UDAs?

Answer: Object Browser reads in properties from various locations (see Tekla Structures Help). When Object Browser reads in two properties with the same name and property type, the second one overwrites the first one.

If two properties have the same name, but their property types are different. Namely, one is of “template” type, and the other is “UDA” type, then Object Browser shows the UDA type in the Settings dialog box with the prefix: UDA –. The property that has the “template” type does not have any indicator.
