Is it possible to number reinforcement according to cast unit position number? So that each cast unit would have internal running numbers 1, 2, 3, etc. for reinforcements.

Answer:
This is not possible by numbering commands.
As a workaround you can use the Rebar Sequence Numbering macro or Reinforcement Sequence Numbering extension from Warehouse.
When you run the macro, it adds the rebar number by cast unit to the REBAR_SEQ_NO user-defined attribute for rebars. So it does not change the "official" numbering, but adds the desired number as a value for user-defined attribute. It can then be used in reports etc.
