Question:
I'm working in a shared model using using Tekla Structures 2021 SP2 version, but when I try to open my local model, I will get an error: "Model x cannot be opened. External component has thrown an exception." and local model will not open. Also excluding the model from sharing is not working. How to fix the model?

Answer:
This is known issue TTSD-45936 which relates to locking of rebar sets with object locks and happen in Tekla Structures 2021 SP2 version only. You need to contact to your local support to fix the model.
