Model ownership with Tekla Model Sharing
In Tekla Model Sharing, the model ownership always belongs to only one organization.
The ownership for a model is defined when a user starts sharing a model. Model ownership is given to the organization to which the user belongs when she starts to share the model.
In case there is a need to change the model ownership later on, please contact Tekla Structures support.
The meaning of the model ownership
Organization administrators (Admin role defined in the Tekla Online Admin Tool) can manage all shared models of their own organization by using Management Console for Tekla Model Sharing.
Also an external user from another organization can manage your organization model sharing models in the Management Console, if he has given the Tekla Model Sharing Admin role in the Tekla Online Admin Tool.
The administrator can, for example, control the access rights (user roles) for all the users in all models owned by their organization.
