Location of xml-file that contains the user-specific keyboard shortcuts

Question:
Where are my own keyboard shortcuts located?
Answer:
Keyboard shortcuts are saved in file KeyboardShortcuts.xml. These files are located:
- From Tekla Structures 2016 - until 2018i
- %LOCALAPPDATA%\Trimble\TeklaStructures\<version>\Settings\
- %LOCALAPPDATA%\Trimble\TeklaStructures\<version>\Settings\
- From Tekla Structures 2019 onwards
- %LOCALAPPDATA%\Trimble\Tekla Structures\<version>\Settings\
Please note the space between Tekla and Structures in folder paths.
For example, the keyboard shortcuts of Tekla Structures 2025 are located in
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Trimble\Tekla Structures\2025.0\Settings\KeyboardShortcuts.xml
Note that the AppData folder might be hidden by default. To view it, switch on the Hidden items option in the File Explorer:
