LMTOOLS does not list the status of the license server and the licenses.

Case:
Your Tekla Structures licenses are activated on the server and all in healthy state. The Tekla Structures users are able to obtain the licenses from the server and work on Tekla Structures. However, LMTOOLS does not list the status of the license server and the licenses when you click on" Perform status enquiry".


Solution:
On the server side, do the following:    
  1. Make sure that no one is connected to the server. Ask all the users to shut down their sessions and Close Tekla Structures
  2. Open LMTOOLS
  3. Go to Start/Stop/Reread tab
  4. Make sure that Tekla Structures Licensing Service is being selected
  5. Click on stop server. It should give: “Stopping Server”. If not, check “Force Server Shutdown” and then click on “Stop server” again.
  6. Once it says “server star successful” go to Server Status tab
  7. Click on "perform status inquiry".
At this stage, LMTOOLS should give the correct information about Tekla Structures licenses. If not, please contact your local Tekla Structures support office so that they can investigate further and provide the necessary technical support based on that.
