Question

I have exported my model using the Tekla PowerFab plugin to Tekla PowerFab but the length for certain members like columns and beams are showing as zero length. Why is this happening?

Answer

This issue is due to the character length defined in the "450 Tekla PowerFab_Part_v2.rpt" report. We have since updated this report and you can download the report from the link attached to this article.  Extract the zip file and place the report in your model folder or firm folder and the length will be fixed when you export using the Tekla PowerFab plugin again.
