I cannot launch Tedds. "Error 18" is displayed within the License Manager. How can I resolve this?

Question:
When attempting to launch Tedds, the License Manager is launched instead, displaying "Error 18" within the Status page.Answer:
- Check whether a license has been issued for the version of Tedds that you have installed - if not, you can request this from your local Trimble office
- If you have been issued a license for the version you have installed, ensure that this has been activated on your server
- If your license has been activated on your server, ensure that you have configured your licensing settings to use the correct server as shown below
- Go to Start > All Apps > Tekla > System and User settings - this will launch the Software Licensing Configuration
- Under the System group, select Products on the left, then on the right select Tekla Tedds
- Ensure that the License Method is set to Server and the server name is set to (Default)
- Select the License Server page on the left, then on the right click Find - this should find your license server. Alternatively you can manually type the IP address of the server
- Close the Licensing Configuration and Launch Tedds
