How to prevent cutting lines during printing

Question:
How can I prevent pullout pictures from cutting part lines when drawing is printed?

Answer:

New printing (XS_USE_OLD_PLOT_DIALOG=FALSE)

 

  1. Go to the mark properties.
  2. For Background/Background mask), select Transparent to show the part of the drawing that is covered by the mark, so that line work is visible.
    The Opaque option will hide the part of the drawing that is covered by the mark.

Old printing (XS_USE_OLD_PLOT_DIALOG=TRUE)

  1. Open the Advanced options dialog (Crtl+E) and go to the Printing category.
  2. Set XS_USE_LINECLIP to FALSE.

NOTE: The XS_USE_LINECLIP advanced option has no effect in the new printing (XS_USE_OLD_PLOT_DIALOG=FALSE).
