Question:
How can I write a conversion file that works for the SDNF or PDMS import? Tekla Structures does not convert and map the SDNF profile 203x203x60kg/m into Tekla profile UC203*203*60, even if I have the following definition in the profile conversion file:

UC203*203*60  203x203x60kg/m

Answer:
The SDNF import converts all part names and profiles into capital letters. So even if the profile is written with lowercase letters in the actual SDNF file ("203x203x60kg/m"), you need to use capital letters in the profile conversion file prfexp_SDNF.cnv:

UC203*203*60  203X203X60KG/M
