Question:
The user has borrowed a license and is currently working from the home office. He has also a VPN connection on. For some reason, he is consuming one "extra" license from company servers. His borrowed license is not used.
Answer:
The user should start Tekla Structures before connecting to VPN. As Tekla Structures is looking for a license from the previous location by default, it will find the license from the company servers and ignore the borrowed license, and that is why he is consuming two licenses. After Tekla Structures has started, the user can start his VPN connection.
