Question:

How can we apply a filter for only objects with empty attributes values?

Answer: Currently you can filter empty values with two optional ways, either with template category or with part category:

  • Template - PRODUCT_CODE - Equals - 0 
  • Part - Product code (PRODUCT_CODE) - Equals - (empty value selected from model)

With the Template- Equals -0 filter you need to take into account that if the value really is a zero, then that is also included into the selection group.

Filtering functionality was changed in Tekla Structures 2020 SP3, so that empty value is no longer returning empty, but zero instead. So that means that rules like Does not contain * are no longer working.
