How to add the custom contour plate (CHQK_PL) profile

1. Copy the Profitab.inp file to the model or Firm folder from the location shown below C:\TeklaStructures\<version>\Environments\<environment>\profil

2. Open the Profitab.inp file from the model folder or Firm folder with a text editor.
3. Add the CHQK_PL contour plate profile in the plate profile prefix category. Example:- CHQK_PL

4. Save the file and then restart Tekla Structures for the change to take effect.

Limitation:-
Name length profile prefix in the profitab.inp file = 9 characters (ONLY alphabets allowed)
