Below there are two examples showing how to round up to the nearest 100mm and nearest 25mm increments.
  1. Add the value of x by just under half of the increment value
  2. Divide the answer by the increment and round it.
  3. Multiply the rounded number by the increment.
 
Rounding up to the nearest 100mm
x = 113 mm
y = round((x + 49.9999999999 mm)/100 mm,0) * 100mm = ? mm
 
Rounding up to the nearest 25mm
x = 149 mm
y = round((x + 12.4999999999 mm)/25 mm,0) * 25mm = ? mm
