Question
I have points in my model obstructing the views which commands try to snap to. I also have additional grid lines and too many views that are not required. How can I reduce these?Answer
When elements are created and subsequently deleted, they can leave behind points, construction lines and views which are no longer required. These can potentially hinder modeling by cluttering the model and causing new elements to potentially snap to the wrong points. In Tekla Structural Designer 2017, Service Pack 1 (v17.0.1.41), a new feature called Rationalize was introduced, which cleans up unused items.
This is available via the Edit ribbon > Edit group > Rationalize command
