How can you save a calculation before you have finished inputting all the variables?

When you wish to close out of the user interface, before all the necessary inputs have been made to finish the calculation, hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard and then press the Cancel button in the user interface. You will then be presented with the following Cancel menu:

Interrupt - closes the user interface and saves all the variables you have already specified
Abort - closes the user interface without saving any variables (as if you just pressed Cancel without holding down SHIFT)
Continue - directs you back to the user interface
Choose the Interrupt option and the interface will close. In the output you will see a list of field codes that reference the variables that you have already selected. You will not see the usual output because Tedds needs all the variables entered before it can fully develop the regular output that you normally see. Then you can save the document and close out of Tedds, and then return to the document at another time. This workaround will work with all the calculations, but you may find it most useful when working with modules that require a large amount of variable entries, such as the 2D Frame analysis module.
