Hard stamps not visible for all parts

Question:
I am able to get the hard stamps visible in some but not for all. What might cause this?

Answer:

Check these things:

  • Is the part a secondary part? Tekla Structures does not create hard stamps for secondary parts unless the variable XS_SECONDARY_PART_HARDSTAMP is set to TRUE.
  • Check the creation points and creation direction of the contour plate. Try if changing the user-defined attribute Main axis direction helps. This option affects numbering, so set any similar plates the same way.
  • Check if there is problem info printed to dstv_nc.log or session history log files. There might be solid errors because of some cut for example.
