Generating gridwise quantities from the model

You can use organizer’s location based categorization to automatically select objects between specified grids.

See below steps.

Step 1: Define Boundary box for your entire building.

Here you can define extent of your building in all 3 directions X, Y & Z (vertical). You can specify end grids e.g. Here building in x-direction lies between Grid 1 & Grid 34. and in y-direction it is between Grid C to Grid A1 as shown below.

Step 2: Define Grid wise sections in sections’ tab. (depends on how you want your quantities.). Here we are defining sections e.g. we want to generate quantities between grid 1 to grid 6 as one group, grid 6 to grid 11 etc.

Step 3: Then select created section from categories list on right side panel in organizer to get corresponding object quantities in left side Object browser panel.
