You have several options for exporting a Tekla Structures Model to Spatial Analyzer:
1) Download the Tekla STEP IGES converter from Tekla Warehouse.
2) Download the Tekla Rapid Prototype Converter from Tekla Warehouse. STL format > Spatial Analyzer accepts STL files in addition to IGS and STP files. You can test if the conversion was successful after exporting a STL file from Tekla Structures on a free STL viewer, for example here.
3) You can export an IFC file from Tekla Structures by using the IfcOpenShell - IFC Convert application, more details can be found in the IfcConvert Document. You can convert an IFC file into several other file formats.
IFCCONVERT application converts the geometry in an IFC file into one of the following formats:
.obj WaveFront OBJ (a .mtl file is also created)
.dae Collada Digital Asset Exchange
.stp STEP Standard for the Exchange of Product Data
.igs IGES Initial Graphics Exchange Specification
.xml XML Property definitions and decomposition tree
.svg SVG Scalable Vector Graphics (2d floor plan)
