Question:
We are not able insert reference CAD file size more than 200MB in to TEKLA model, when we inserted such file it is getting aborted without any error message.
Answer:
The reason is that the CAD file is too heavy.
If you are successful in inserting the reference file, do not switch all layers on at once in Reference files > Layers. Instead, try switching the layers on one at a time.
If the problem persists, try this workaround: instead of inserting the file as one large file, try to separate the layers into several CAD files and then try inserting each file.
In the example image below, a file containing only one layer was imported succesfully.
