Question:
When I try to borrow a license, error message 50035 is displayed.
Answer:
Error 50035 in license borrowing means that you are trying to borrow a license that does not exist on the server (for example, you are trying to borrow a version 14 license, and there are only version 15 licenses activated on the server).
On the server machine:
- Open License Administration Tool.
- Click File > Export > Product id file.
Now a .tpi file is created. Send this .tpi file to a person who is trying to borrow a license.
On a client computer:
- Save the exported .tpi file, for example, to the desktop.
- Open License Borrow Tool.
- Click Open... and browse for the .tpi file on the desktop.
- Try borrowing again
