Displaying welds in model views
You can use the weld properties in selection and view filters. Here you can define how welds are displayed in model views:

Displaying welds in drawings
You can visualize modeled welds in drawings in Tekla Structures.
You can show welds as outlines or as paths and also show weld hidden lines in drawings:

In general arrangement drawings, you can only modify the representation on object and view level, not on drawing level.
Representation setting Outline shows the weld as solids, the setting Path is equal to the traditional line representation.
Below you can see an example showing different welds as an outline and as a path:
