For what purpose are the template attributes DIMENSION_A and DIMENSION_B?
Answer:
DIMENSION_A and DIMENSION_B are part attributes related to railings in Tekla Structures. The railing components (1024), (S86), and (S76) create parts with these dimension values.

If you create a drawing from any of these components, you can add the DIMENSION_A and DIMENSION_B attributes to the drawing template for part content type in Template Editor. Below is an example of a drawing created from Handrailing (1024) and the corresponding report. The default environment contains a ready-made report: P_Railing_List.rpt, which uses these attributes. It also contains the other railings related attributes: RAIL_ANGLE, RAIL_RADIUS and RAIL_OFFSET.
