Question: How can I create a report on the parts exported to DGN?
Answer: Follow these steps:
1) Check that the advanced option XS_ATTRIBUTE_FILE_EXCLUDE_LIST DOES NOT contain "dgn_attribute_info". This ensures that you are able to see the report "dgn_attribute_info_file.drv.rpt" on the report list.
2) Check that the advanced option XS_DGN_EXPORT_USE_LOCAL_ID is set to TRUE.
2) Export the 3D DGN file with the selected parts or all parts, as needed. During the export, Tekla Structures will number all parts selected using the hidden UDA "dgnexportidlabel"
3) On the ribbon, go to Drawings & reports > Reports and run the "dgn_attribute_info_file.drv.rpt" report on exported parts.
The location of the report depends on your environment. In the Default environment, it is located in ..\TeklaStructures\<version>\Environments\Default\General\Shared\ReportsAndTemplates. You can also copy dgn_attribute_info_file.drv.rpt to the model folder. If you can't see the dgn_attribute_info_file.drv.rpt on the report list, try renaming it for example to something like 'dgn_attribute_info.drv.rpt'.
