Controlling Rebar Fill/hatch colour in TS2024 version onwards

Question: 
How to control Rebar Fill/hatch colour in TS2024 version compared to earlier version, since advanced options XS_​HATCH_​SPECIAL_​COLOR_R/G/B have been removed from Tekla Structures 2024?

Answer: 
Background: -

Rebar hatch/fill color is not working the same in 2024 as it used to work in 2023

1. A new model created on Tekla 2024 with rebar hatch/fill enabled appears in black as there is no way to control the color.
2. If the model is upgraded from Tekla 2023 to 2024 with rebar hatch enabled, then it appears in grey based on obsolete advanced options (XS_ HATCH_ SPECIAL_ COLOR_ R/G/B). Thus, the user cannot change the color as XS_ HATCH_ SPECIAL_ COLOR_ R/G/B are no longer visible in the Advanced options dialog.

Solution in version 2024 onwards:-

1. Close TS, open the Options.ini file from the model folder, and add the HATCH setting options with the desired RGB color value. 

   For example, 

XS_HATCH_SPECIAL_COLOR_R=230

XS_HATCH_SPECIAL_COLOR_G=117

XS_HATCH_SPECIAL_COLOR_B=139

2. Open TS and the model. Make sure that the below option is set to TRUE!

   XS_DRAW_REBAR_HIDDEN_FACES=TRUE

3. Open GA drawing > Open GA drawing properties and the required View properties > Reinforcement > Switch ON "Hide lines behind other rebars" option & modify drawing to get the fill/hatch color inside rebars as per required values!
