Question: Is it possible to create a construction polyline in the model?
Answer: A new construction object is available starting with version 2019 - Polycurve. This feature is not available on previous versions of Tekla.

As indicated in the help article above, it consists of a combination of 3D construction lines and arcs labeled as polycurves. These pass through the points that you pick and can have straight and/or curved segments.

To add, go to the Construction object> Polycurve command from the Edit tab. You can use the contextual toolbar to switch between creating straight and curved segments or use Direct Modification after having created the polycurve for the same purpose.

Limitations: As with all other construction objects in the model, Polycurve is not visible in drawings.
