How do I remove the Trimble Connect for Windows cache files?
Instructions:
First, navigate to the folder
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Trimble\Trimble Connect\
You can do this easily by typing
%localappdata%\Trimble\Trimble Connect
on the Windows Explorer search bar.
Delete the contents of the folder. (You can take a backup copy of the contents "just in case")
Next, navigate to
C:\Users\<user>\.TrimbleConnect\.files
This folder contains the actual 3D models in TrimBIM (.trb) format and other files, such as pdf's, you have stored in Trimble Connect.
Delete the contents of the folder.
DONE!
Now you can launch Trimble Connect Desktop with a clean slate.
