Cannot see new step on the list

Question:
I've edited the file steps.dat in C:\ProgramData\Trimble\Tekla Structures\<version>\Environments\default\General\Shared\ModelingSettings and in C:\ProgramData\Trimble\Tekla Structures\<version>\Environments\default\Steel\Detailing\ComponentSettings and then created a new model using the S71 component, but I cannot see the step I created on the list.
Answer:
The added step is not visible in the user interface unless you also add it to the ts_page_10_default.inp file. The filename is environment dependent. These environment-dependent files are located in the C:\Program Files\Tekla Structures\<version>\applications\steel1 folder.
The used inp file name ending is defined with the advanced option XS_STEEL1_TS_PAGE_10_EXTENSION=_default in ini files.
The options in the user interface are linked to the number and order of steps, so make sure the number you use is the correct one. Calculate how many profiles are visible in the drop-down list the component dialog box. The numbering starts from zero.
For example, if there are 88 profiles in the component dialog box, the new row in the steps.dat may look like:
88 KKE50x250 S235JR 50 250 25 50 100 50 12 25 25 25 25 12 7990
