Cannot login to Tekla Structures 2016i or older version

Question:
I cannot login to Tekla Structures version 2016i and use Model Sharing. After I give my password, the login dialog box just reappears and login doesn't happen. Same applies to 21.0, 21.1 and 2016 versions.

Answer:
We have tighten up the security requirements for versions connecting to our cloud solutions such as Tekla Model Sharing. We for example require that Tekla Structures versions would be using TLS 1.2 protocol, which versions 21.0 - 2016i are not supporting by default.  You need to install a separate TLS 1.2 Enabler installer as instructed in this article:  Security update for Tekla Model Sharing.

After 31.12.2022 this won't help anymore for versions TS 2016i or older, they will be permanently retired from the service as mentioned in this article: END OF Life for older Tekla Structures versions in Tekla Model Sharing
