Question:
I have 2 Construction management licenses activated on the server. I'm borrowing one of them. After borrowing it seems that both of the licenses are somehow reserved. How to release the “reserved licenses”?
Answer:
After you have borrowed a license, click "Reread license file" in LMTOOLS on the server computer. Rereading releases the licenses if they have somehow got reserved for no reason.
Additionally, if you are using the tekla.opt file and you have used the definition “ACTIVATED LICENSE(S)” in a user group, it should be listed as the last definition of the user group. For example:
GROUP CM-USERS john peter megan “ACTIVATED LICENSE(S)”
Not:
GROUP CM-USERS “ACTIVATED LICENSE(S)” john peter megan
