Attribute WEIGHT_GROSS returns different values for polybeams if there are cuts in them

Question:
There is a difference in the WEIGHT_GROSS value when there are and when there are no cuts in the polybeam. Why is that?

Answer:
Most probably, you have some high value set for the advanced option XS_POLYBEAM_CHORD_TOLERANCE. Enter the value 0.1 to reduce the difference in the WEIGHT_GROSS values.
