Background & Symptoms
These types of problems are usually related to issues in the Microsoft Office installation and not Tekla Tedds. The following Symptoms can occur with this specific issue:
- An error has occurred whilst calculating, the document can not be updated - The server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010105 (RPC_E_SERVERFAULT))
- Failed to get an active instance of Word. Click on a document in Word then try this operation again.
- Failed to find the Worksheet that links Excel to Tedds

Issue
Office 365 Click to Run with Word 2016 64-bit is installed and Word 32-bit registry keys exist.
How to check
Check the version of Word installed via
- File
- Account
- About Word
- About Microsoft Word dialog

If the version is 16.X and 64-bit check the following
- The following registry key exists
- HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Classes\TypeLib\{000020905-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\8.7\0\Win32
- The MSWord.olb defined by the (Default) value does NOT exist
- for example ... c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Root\Office16\MSWORD.OLB

If the OLB does NOT exist then the solution is to rename the Win32 to something other than Win32, e.g.- HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Classes\TypeLib\{000020905-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\8.7\0\_Win32
