This following linked article has helpful information about how to Manage Trimble Identities and Tekla online licenses.

There are three main steps for setting up a new user:

  1. Create Trimble ID.
  2. Accept invitation to organization.
  3. Assign licensing.
  4. Set up user in Tekla PowerFab (EPM).

The first and second steps can be done when the organization's administrator invites the user through the Tekla Online Admin Tool  which sends an email with links to the user. Usually the 401 Unauthorized error occurs when users set up their Trimble ID but do not accept the invitation to the organization.

Note:
Terms and conditions must be accepted when creating the Trimble ID.
