To Enable Steel Projects choose Maintenance >Integration Settings >Steel Projects.

Check Enable Steel Projects.

If you want Steel Projects to be able to reserve material to a job that does not exist in Tekla PowerFab, check that box.

If you have Remote Link or Tekla PowerFab Go:

 

  1. Create an external user
  • On the File ribbon tab select Administration.

  • Go to the External Users tab
  • Name your user.  Be sure to record the password.

  • Give your user permission to log in, and required Tekla PowerFab permissions.

  • Make sure the Remote Server is running.

Note: The remaining setup is on the Steel Projects side. They will need the external user name and password, the IP Addresses of Tekla PowerFab database, and the port that Tekla PowerFab Go is running.
